Jeanne Buchanan holds a Bachelor's degree in English and an MBA in marketing. She has served in several corporate communications leadership roles during her career, and held the office of vice president of corporate communications in two NYSE-listed companies. After a series of complex corporate mergers, Buchanan elected to leave the executive suite; she moved to Boerne, where she established Folio Communications, a small public relations and marketing consultancy that caters to a corporate clientele.

As the wife, senior editor and immediate supervisor of the foundation's founder, Buchanan has been immersed in Jefferson Morgenthaler's writing, bookselling and publishing projects. She brings business savvy, project-management skills and a sophisticated understanding of communications to Mockingbird Books and The Texana Foundation.
